Day 2

This could be any large American city, but it's the closest one to where yours truly lives (Topeka being medium-sized and Wichita being farther away than KC):

From our 22nd floor room, 07:47 CST

Sproglet in Fast Time

Oh, no kidding
Adorable :)
Totally!

Of course, she had more fun in 30 seconds with my green laser pointer than all day with my glitter pen, but this is what happens when Bana gets a padawan...

Oh, c'mon!
What a girl wants: LASER
What a girl needs: HIGH POWERED GREEN LASER

Next up! Laser capable of trasking the Robot Army...
You see where I'm going with this?
Yes... yes... the anti-Jeff...

"For in the seventh year of KDD, there came unto Nichols a girl-child, the daughter of a K-State professor..."

Keeper of the Neopets... of DOOM
Isn't she now?
Her dad is one of my colleagues and so I get her over for dinner every now and then.

She's introduced me to Neopets and several other games sproglets play. I haven't had time to make one, though. :o)

Hello, Banazir.

Who's the adorable young lady? And what, pray tell, is a sproglet?

(note_to_self:
d: and why do i get the feeling the answer to both is the same?
m: or rather, one another.)

And what's a padawan?

Sproglets and padawans
Hello, Banazir.
Yello, mythrocks! Long time, no see!

Who's the adorable young lady?
This qyoot onyanko is the daughter of a couple of my good friends and colleagues.

And what, pray tell, is a sproglet?
A sproglet is a human in a intermediary, pre-pupal developmental stage between larval (bebe) and adult states. The term sproglet is synonymous with "littleling", "kidlet", "wee one", etc.

And what's a padawan?
From the Wikipedia entry:
[The Jedi Order's] members progressed through three levels of rank: first the Padawan an apprentice who begins training under a Jedi Knight at a young age, about 12 (though Yoda referred to Anakin as being "too old" to be trained at the age of 10, children his age he refers to as 'Younglings'), then Jedi Knight (a fully trained Jedi who has completed 'the trials'), and finally the level of Jedi Master (a Jedi Knight who instructs a Padawan).

Close, if a little vague about the progression.

Re: Sproglets and padawans
Ah, my apologies. For some reason, the word "padawan" sounded... eastern... like Tagalog, but what do i know.

(note_to_self: d: must work on Star Wars parlance.)

as for "sproglet", part of me just wanted to hear the definition from a college prof ;)
