Plenty more where that came from, folks!
Ph33r my working scanner, OMGWTFLOL, kthxbye.

Open House 2005: Things are off to a good start. I went over to check on Ryan Shelton's demo, and Andrew King was setting up some stuff as well, so KDD is adequately represented. I printed 20 MASSFORGE fliers and will repost those later, along with some screen shots from Ryan's RoboSim viewer (now integrated with Thomas's environment module).

Working scanners are rediculously cheap these days. I think I paid $20 for my 1800 dpi 10x14 flatbed one...

Awww, you're a CUTE LITTLE BOY. ;)

This is non sequitur, but another friend posted this 'friends-only', and it made me think of you. It's a lightsaber toy sold by ThinkGeek. You may have already seen it...

Yep - at Media West Con 2004 I had the opportunity to play with one belonging to Doc Sacks, an MD acquaintance who ended up being shot in the back at least 9 times during the cosplay battle. :-D

Kyoot!

(Ach! We had wall panelling like that in our TV room when I was growing up -- and that was in the 80s!)

Panelling
Yep, same here (different house). My dad loved that stuff. Particle board, finishing nails, and panelling with molding. Oy, I still remember helping to put those up in our basement in 1987...

Who is that in your icon? He looks familiar, but I can't quite figure out who it is.
