Tagged with a meme or three

kaladhwen hit me with this-a one:

"What things do you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play?
What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level?
Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs."

Thinking up new projects
Making progress on existing ones
Reading SF classics
Getting caught up on network TV
Starting deep discussions in LiveJournal
Writing jokes in GJ or sending them to my close friends
Hunting for GJ/LJ icons
Sitting in #teunc waiting for someone to show up
Listening to music
Reading book, hardware, software, and music catalogs, in descending order
Shopping or browsing at Waldenbooks
Eating Thai food
Planning travel during my net conference or site visit

And here are the tagged ones:

chevronsha
sui_degeneris
consilience
weetanya
andrewwyld

Finally, from scionofgrace and carida_46 comes:
If, as you live your life, you find yourself mentally composing LJ entries about it, post this exact same sentence in your Livejournal.

It's good to plan things!

I tagged you for something yesterday but you probably didn't see it. Just thought I'd inform you.

Have you ever read any of Donald Knuth's The Art of Computer Programming?

Indeed I have
... the first three volumes, in fact. I haven't looked at Vol. 4, which came out since I was an undergrad and scouring the shelves for Knuth's books. I'll probably have a look at it soon. These days I prefer books such as his Concrete Mathematics with Ron Graham and Oren Patashnik.

There's a question about TAOCP here.

You're welcome
How fared you?

I got 95 and was annozzled. (Because I don't think I should just rate that highly for knowing almost nothing about computers.)
