Can anyone help me? I accidentally deleted one of the JPEGs from my digital photo album and emptied the Recycle Bin. RestoreMyFiles is able to preview the image, which seems not to have been overwritten yet, but it produces a 1Kb file. It should be abot 1974Kb, which the utility can see.

BTW, what just happened on ER? I missed all but the ending.

Re: Screenshot
I anticipated that might be the case, but don't know RestoreMyFiles so hoped for the best.

FWIW I've restored some pretty expensive files under *cough* another OS (DOS 3.2, specifically) but have had zero success under WinX ... and I have two HDs packed with data, probably 95% recoverable.

*shrug*

(I'm losing my edge, Bill ... starting to care less and less.
HeyHo ... rusting away.)

best of luck

I have this little utility named "Digital Photo Recovery"... send me e-mail if you need it. It worked for me... but then again, I used it under Win98SE, not XP. No guarantees!

What happened in the part of the ep that you saw? I might be able to fill you in.

Neela and the guy
Who was leaving and why were they looking at the sky?

For a moment I thought she was looking at him being brought back, dead or dying, because he seemed to be saying goodbye to her, but then I realized he was a soldier and wouldn't be coming back to County General.

Re: Neela and the guy
Wait. You said you saw "all but" the ending, but did you mean you only saw only the ending?

Ah ha! Well, there's apparently other eps that built up to that ep. Gallant was a doctor in the ER for I don't know how long, but then he was called to duty in Iraq awhile ago in the show, and he and Neela kinda liked each other or something.

They've been writing to each other ever since, and in the ep before this one, it's them exchanging letters and you see what life is like for him in Iraq and Neela's trying to find direction in her life or something. That sets up the ep that you saw, where Gallant is actually able to visit Chicago for like 2-3 days when he's bringing this Iraqi girl to the states for medical treatment that they can't give her in Iraq. (The girl was injured because of the US troop movements etc. and they're supposed to treat Iraqi citizens that are hurt because of their presence there, if like the Iraqis caught in the crossfire or something. He was able to convince his CO to give her further medical treatment in the states and hitch a ride on a plane taking injured soldiers back, but because a doctor had to go with her cause she was in critical condition, he was able to accompany her to the states.)

So Neela finds out he's in the hospital, and he hasn't come to find her yet, and she's all worried that he doesn't feel the same way about her that she does about him, but of course he does, and they end up sleeping together. They end up like leaving letters for each other -- she leaves a letter for him in his bag, and I think he leaves a letter for her somewhere and she's thinking she's pretty well on her way to being in love with him, etc. But yeah, that must've been the end you saw, just before he had to go return to Iraq.
