But you have chosen the Way of Pain

Still a bit sick, I am.
Projectile vomiting Diet Coke is not as amusing as it sounds.

One the plus side, I finally watched Crash, though I'm too tired to write a review for it. Later, I'll do so and post it.

ughh not good .. stay away from diet coke and any caffeine tough. it's not the best when you feel sick. boil water and let it cool for a bit then drink it. also stick with light foods for a bit.

hope you feel better soon though *hugs*

Caffeine when sick, nothing but ick
Thanks very much, Chele!
I did switch to warm water later that evening and the next day, and ate sparingly, and I feel much better now.

Gah!
Bed. And fluids, once you're past the projectile vomiting stage. No computer. Behave yourself.

*hugs* I'm sorry you're sick. That is no fun whatsoever! Many healthy wishes to come.

On a side note I can't wait to read what you thought about Crash. I don't know many people that have actually watched it, sadly.

Once you can hold down liquids, you might want to try a glass of E-mergen'C. It'll help replace the vitamins and electrolytes and help you recover from the dehydration. No more than 2 glasses in a day, though, or the excess C will give you a crisis of the other end.

Ow. That sounds painful. Also sounds like it would be as funny as all get out if you did it on the computer monitor, but let's not talk about such disturbing thoughts.

I hope you feel better soon, and put any material you decide to read while resting in big ziplock bags. Sure, the pages will be hard to turn, but if you have an attack of nausea it'll protect it!

Trust me, it's a good thing.

That is just way to tame to hide behind a LJ cut.

Bring out your DEEEEEAD!
OK, fine! :-P

The rest of my (mostly) undigested lunch and dinner were floating in it, save for the hydrolyzed starches from the clam chowder I attempted to have that evening, which wedged themselves in my drain and had to be hand-cleared by yours truly. My intestines had disposed of the rest of the liquid, though, so it was just fizzy carbonated goodness.

Better?! :-D
