Edit, 14:50 CDT Sat 08 Apr 2006 - If you liked the above, you'll probably like these (assorted pictures from my 2004-2005 collection) and these (from the Japanese white peach tree).

You're most welcome!
Plenty more where that came from!
You should see the Japanese white peach blossoms - and you will, soon.

Thanks, you're most welcome
I have more that I'll be posting as soon as I figure out how to transfer files off my PDA phone en masse. It's a Windows Mobile 5 (Windows CE 5) Pocket PC 6700 from Audiovox/UT Starcom. You wouldn't happen to know how to zip files or do group transfers from those, would you?

Single-blossom photography
Actually, the tree itself is not so hot - it's a bit scraggly, and four days after I snapped the above picture, it's already lost most of the blooms.

I've specialized in taking photos of single blossoms, though.

I love magnolias. I planted a tiny Jane magnolia two years ago. It didn't bloom last year, but I was delighted Thursday to see a large, lovely pink blossom. I promised myself I would photograph it and the blooming crabapple when I got home from work. Unfortunately, we had a terrific thunderstorm with lots of hail that afternoon, and both trees were fairly denuded of blossoms. Ah, there is always next year! I'll enjoy your photo until then.
