What's next, The Sims 2050: Carbon Footprint, or maybe a SimCity 4 add-on module? (The above really does look a lot like an MMORPG called HabboHotel, not that I've ever played that.)

Where's the Alternative Fuels MMORPG? Of course, if environmental issues made it into World of Warcraft zengeneral would probably start a Burning Crusade... literally.

In other news: I watched The Ring, and it was good, though no better than I expected from its reputation. More on this later.

I don't doubt it, but enlighten me: is that just one of the subtexts or really a primary plot?

I really don't know how much of WoW is carried over from WC1-3, see, and I'm only halfway familiar with the plot of those...

Re: Environmental issues in WoW
Well, the elves are all tree-hugging hippies, so if you play an elf druid, you basically play a greenpeace activist who can kill people with fireballs ;)
While if you play a gnome alchemist, you are pretty much a walking chemical bomb who cares about nothing. So no, it's not a main plot, but if you want it you can find it.

Only YOU can prevent forest fireballs
Well, by THAT token, the Silvan Elves of Greenwood the Great (and their precursors in Doriath) were conservationists, too.

Also, wasn't the point of Greenpeace to conduct nonviolent interference? I understand that certain parties (such as French president Mitterand, who had one of the Rainbow Warrior incarnations blown up, IIRC) see them as ecoterrorists, but, well... fireballs are another matter. ;-)

You think if they could fry the whalers with wrath from heaven and get away with it, they'd stop ? ;)

Greenwar
No, but then they should call themselves the Growing Legion or Greenwrath or the Rainbow Scourge or something. ;-)

ECOVENGER HUNGERS
You've never heard of Arty Nader, the Green King?

Seriously, now - I really do want a Warcraft III or WoW AniGIF. zarathustra's Matrix icon is great, and has served me well as a "games" icon, but I would like one more recognizable as such. Any idea where I can get one?
