"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."

There is something about this quote...every time I read it or hear it, it gives me chills. Rutger Hauer delivered it so perfectly, so beautifully, that I cry when I watch the movie. "Bladerunner" is one of the -best- movies of all time, if for no reason other than Roy Batty.

I want more life... TRASKER!
It's a shame it won't last -- but then again, what cable modem does?

The cable modem that downloads twice as fast lasts half as long -- and this one has downloaded very, very fast...

Is this a test to see if it's a cable modem, or a candle?

I love these entries
There is something amusingly bizarre about your catchup posts.

This one in particular. 3 + 5 = 8, so you may already know whether the modem is dead or whether there has been a reprieve. Then again, you may not, since there is a minor matter of your not being in the same country as this particular cable modem at the moment.

I'll wait with bated breath to read about current happenings as they unfolded several days ago.

Schroedinger's modem
ah, but is the modem dead unless Bana is there to check whether it is?...

BIZARRE!
Denise,

I went out of the country 6 days ago.
The week before that was a complete frenzy of packing, preparations, and last-minute meetings.
Consequently, I had little else to post about, time-dependent or not.
I post one LJ post per day, every day.

So, here are my posts. Enjoy, or not, it's all fine by me.

I'm sorry, William.
I get the sense that I stepped on your toes, and I didn't mean to do that.

I was trying to be funny. Evidently, I failed.

I apologize for the lapse.

I'll yell at 'em, "Please, sir, don't kill Bana's internets!"

It's a bit like Logan's Run ... except when the lights stop flashing it's bad!
