An evening with the gang

Tonight's fall department dinner was a nice, cozy little get-together. We welcomed the new faculty members (Doina Caragea, Simon Ou), instructor (Tom Bulatewicz), and sysadmin (Seth Galitzer). I met several spouses and families for the first time and a few (such as Bill Shea's wife Marge) for the second or third time.

Willie the Wildcat, our mascot, was on hand to sign some autographs and take pictures with the sproglets. After watching his well-received antics for a while, I decided that he should add his signature to the TEUNC collection:

How TEUNC as a whole can constitute a single Wildcat is an ontological mystery, but... such is the nature of TEUNC, nesupasu?

Aw, cute, a Willie Wildcat autograph! We are partial to purple in our household, too, but we do take a walk on the wild side during basketball season to support those 'Hawks.

May I ask, what is a TEUNC? Inquiring mind.

Tolkien Eccentric Unusual Nut-Cases
You can find more out about us in teunc, or by searching Google Groups for TEUNC in alt.fan.tolkien, where we originated back in 1998.

I used to sit in front of Seth in the marching band. His running commentary on the games used to crack the clarinet section up.
