I probably lose all of my geek cred, but of all the comparisons... I've only seen the original X-men movie and the first episode of Lost :P

I really enjoyed the first episode. I just happened to be somewhere in the US with a TV and remembered that it was on, so I made everyone in the hostel watch it.

Unfortunately, unless it is a raging success, it won't come to the UK. So there's a possibility I won't see anymore of it. But it looked promising.

Where there is a will, there is a way...

I love the diversity of the characters. I even like the supporting characters. The Petrelli mother is great. Claire's father gives me the creeps, especially when he is being sweet and loving toward her. I wish they would keep that direction, because he goes over into hokey quickly when "playing" evil.

I'm hoping this series plays out well. It looks good so far.
