Seeking bibliography tools

(Cross-posted from statements.)

I need to maintain a mid-sized bibliography for wikis and for my research group, and I'm open to suggestions.

Edit, 04:45 CST Wed 29 Nov 2006 - Thanks to sperose for suggesting The Bedford Bibliographer. It looks useful, and I will give it a try.

heh ... silence
This is the sort of non-progress that makes me very suspicious of web development; a lot of pains-taking chores seem to have been ignored. Not sexy enough?

FWIW I bet a decent XML database could be created ... the data is predictable ... click a CSS button at the top of the page to select the prefered format and HeyPresto!

p.s. I used Bröderbund's "Thinking Cap" outliner for the C=64 in the mid-80s ... have found nothing even close to it in fuction. Those who have never used a great outliner really can't appreciate how helpful it is.
