Another PSA, and some iconage

suricattus, worthiest of worthies, came up with a brilliant idea for her Revlon Run/Walk for Women to combat womens' cancers. Please do sponsor her. As someone whose mother and maternal grandmother have both had their lives saved by medical science and practice, I can tell you it is an excellent cause.

And listen, anyone who would suffer my insanity ought to be beatified someday!

Just an example of Suri's lightsabre wit:
The thing about Spice, Merry mused as he stared into the thick head of his brew – Littlewater’s best, aged in sherry casks brought down two years back, when Men started riding the trading routes again after cleaning up their own lands in the time after the time Merry tried not to think of, was that it never quite tasted like what you thought it should. Spice should be, oh, he didn’t know, spicy. There should be tang and flavor and heft to it. Shouldn’t there?
The Elves would have known. Had there been any left to ask.
But Elves went out of the world, and Spice came in, and Merry was thinking it was not a fair trade, no not a fair trade at all.

85%: Here is the result of your Niceness Purity Test.
You answered "yes" to 15 of 100 questions, making you 85.0% nice pure (15.0% nice corrupt); that is, you are 85.0% pure in the niceness domain.
According to the scoring guide, your niceness experience level is: Nice... Ok, you are probably really nice, or a liar, if you scored this high. If you are really this nice, then you rule. Good job. If you lied on the questions, then go take the test again. That's really stupid. But anyway, this is just an indicator, so take from it what you will. =)

The Irrefutable Truth about Hobbits, and HP
Look! You're irrefutable!
See? And dknot froget it!
Now, dwagins OTOH...

BTW, I know that HP spoiler community is know to spite me and lal, but why did you make it? And is your recommendation that I:

  • sit tight and wait for lal the books to come out, while see the DVDs and theatrical releases of the films?

  • wait it all out (remember, I do consider spoilers a risk there and I have not learned any)?

  • go ahead and say "trask it lal" and read 1-5/watch 1-3?

Re: The Irrefutable Truth about Hobbits, and HP
Why did I agree to co-mod it you mean? Because Accioslash is a wonderful person and I'm happy to relieve her of net-trask, if only a little.

Cllo, glad you're doing it.
I wish somebuddy would relieve me of net-trask somethymes.
You prolly noticed that I've been absent from IM aswell as TEUNC (the YG and caht, nayway).

Advice - don't read/watch until they're all out. The books, I mean. Who knows when/if they'll film all seven. Although, you might want to wait for the Revised Edition, because Miss Moneybaggy spotted some of the plotholes and is rumoured to fix the early stuff when the story is complete. Ha. So, just don't read that stuff yet because for all its mediocrity, it's like an itch you can't scratch.

'K.
I get spoilt, though, and I'm gonna write yew a strongly werded lettre. It might be 'X' or 'Q', or even that nonexistent lettre.

Just imagine.... The Fremen at the Black Gate... heck even in Osgiliath. Things would have been vastly different. ;-)

Faramir to Denethor II: "Father! The sleeper has awakened!"

Denethor II: "Oh Ship!"

Oh, excellent.
Denethorion Herunumen!
The Golden Path, too, is stewardship. Did you not know?

Denethor II: "Oh Ship!"

What?
We don't balk at saying "shit" in teunc!

I thought that was some Heretics or Chapterhouse swear word, as in ships on Rakis being... oh, nermine. I think too much.

Bana misses MANY refs
Acksherly the whole POINT is that I miss a lont of in-jokes and sutff. And besides, yew expect a Teuncadan to understand a euphemism for one of the commonest cuss wrods? (One of the Carlin 7, even!)

Besides, technically spinking, it wasn't a ref per se, nesupasu?

This is a phrase developed in a nautical fandom. Basically a clean version of "Oh, sh*t!:

Hence Denethor's reaction to Faramir's leading the fremen back from Osgiliath. ;-)

Eeep *shame*
I didn't forget!
(Waut, put away the athame, I'm knot digging myelf deeper!)

See, the thing aboat the way I interpreted "best" is "best-styled". And some of the FoE eople make a whole costuming deal of it, pageant-quality and lal. Your hair looks fantastic by itself (which is not to say I have any idea how much work you put into it for most pohtos, but I have seen pohtos where you boviously just gont up). And I've edited my survey accordingly, just the way I meant it.

That said, you should have been in the list for the way your hair loonked at the Socars and The One Praty alone. MiaMea Culpa!

Dknot be fofended wif moi!
