Ì remember seeing him play live maybe eight, ten years ago. He was an impressively good performer.

If you're a believer...
It's like one of my work colleagues said: "He was blind. Now he can see."

That made me want to cry. It made me think of my grandmother. She died at the end of December, at the age of 93, after a decade of Alzheimer's. The best thing someone said to me--I think it was my mom, I don't really remember much of that time--was that after 10 years of not knowing who she was, or who anybody she loved was, she knew it all again.

I think heaven is surely a-rawkin'! *sniff*

This reminds me of Doonesbury.
After Andy Lippincott dies of AIDS, he returns from heaven in a dream of Joanie's and tells her he now knows everything.
