Sailor on the Seas of Fate

The 'Tempting Fate' meme:

1. Make an LJ-cut post with "DO NOT READ" as the text.
2. Do not select a 'mood' for this post.
3. If anyone clicks the cut, they are to comment and admit to doing so.
4. Anyone who reads this also has to do the same in THEIR journal, thus continuing the neverending madness.

The above is from deire.

Oh, and:
Happy birthday, darana!

Clicky!
Admit? Admit?!? I must have all knowledge. All your knowledge are belong to us. And, a "Do Not Read" sign is the first way to get me to read something. Same with the "Do not Enter" signs, the "Do not use elevator in case of fire" signs, and the "Do not feed the monkeys and bears" signs. Monkeys and bears need food, and they really like you and start to follow you around after you give them something. Then they try to gore you and make you climb a tree, which just HAPPENS to be the holy tree of some Shinto God...silly monkeys.

Good, although busy - am looking forward to having Spring Break next week, so I can do some catching-up and hopefully get started on a paper I'm giving in May. And you?

Memetic entrapment
I'm sure it's inadmissible in a court of Thought Crime, megruder. :-)

How are you?

Re: Memetic entrapment
In one word: better.

Unless something earth-shattering happens in the next several days, my plan is to carry on with the semester on Monday. I'm hoping all will go well, given a few expected bumps in the road, and that by the middle of the week I will be able to confidently say I can continue.

I look forward to seeing you around the department again soon, then.

Of course I clicked it - would you expect less?

I figure if there's something you wouldn't want me to read, it would be filtered so I couldn't. Hence, my logical assumption was that this was a ploy to get people to click on the link. Now, it's debatable whether I'll bequeath this to my own journal...We'll see.

I assumed this was some form of reverse psychology. However, being the kind of guy I am I was compelled to click and read. It's like a big red button.

Hearing the sea
How do you mean?

The lure of the sea? Not really.
I was just listening to the closing credits song of Finding Nemo.

Shh! Don't let that get out!

It's the biting cat from Azumanga Daioh. I use it when something gets me angry or irritated. LOL! I've seen an animated icon of the cat biting one of the girls from the anime before, so maybe you've seen that one?

# Cry me a river #

Hey, Justin Timberlake can be cute too. I wonder if your cousin Cynthia likes him in addition to Orlando Bloom? Bwahahaha!

Nope; but I have seen the cat itself.

Hey, Justin Timberlake can be cute too. I wonder if your cousin Cynthia likes him in addition to Orlando Bloom? Bwahahaha!
Eeep! Mention not the Timbre Leake!
Oh, but Cynthia would probably write an extemporaneous parody such as

# It's gettin' cold in here #
# So put on all your clothes #

(or worse, start doing the Senorita dance and try to make all the other girls join in - gah!)
