Trading Agent Competion (TAC)

DCA, I want my TAC-o now!

Today I went over to the Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) department between my two classes (Computer Graphics and Advanced Topics in AI), and gave a talk on TAC SCM, at the invitation of my friend and colleague, Shing I Chang. There were over 20 grad students in attendance, though this was a required departmental research seminar, and the department head (Brad Kramer) was giving out Open House 2004 awards. In the long run, I'll be satistified if one or two students ends up approaching Ryan to join his development team.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we wipe noses on sleeves: I received an invitation to Orkut from wondergurl_77, who describes it as a social network that is "more elite that LJ". I'm not sure whether that's a great selling point, but at any rate, let me know if you'd like your thumbnail pic to appear in a (currently) small cluster of Banacronies, and I'll gladly invite you.
