Introducing comptranslation, the Machine Translation community

To christen my newly permanent LiveJournal account, I have started comptranslation, a community for machine translation, particularly new technologies and research.

Please have a look and feel free to join if you are interested.

So I do. :] Yes, I'd like to have posting access. (Not that I have much to say at this point.)

Added you back! The quality of my journal is seriously impacted by lack of sleep these days, but bear with me, I only have two more finals to go till the summer break. (Provided I survive!)

Summer break?
You're still on spring semester over there?

(I ask because I'm heading into the third week of my summer course.)

Re: Summer break?
Yes, and we don't even have a summer semester. Here in Hungary universities tend to have two semesters per year: the autumn and the spring semester, with one week free after the autumn one. (Or if one can complete the finals faster - which is the usual case - then more.) The spring semester officially finishes sometime in the first week of July and the autumn semester starts in the first week of September.
