A simple LiveJournal styles question

Can someone please explain how to get LJ to display individual numbered entries (as opposed to calendar or tag aggregations) in a specific user's style? I've tried several solutions using the ?style=mine, but it doesn't seem to work on individual entries, nor do I know how to identify a style using the style URL variable.

Edit, 16:20 CST Fri 21 Oct 2005: I'm specifically trying to view this post, with colored text in Unearthed, so it contrasts like this instead of with a white background. However, I can only get Unearthed in Calendar/Archive view.

Thanks in advance,
Banazir

Thanks for the tip!
I don't think I explained myself correctly before: I tried that, and it worked, but I would like to use an absolute rather than relative binding for "style". e.g., unearthed (free) or component (paid only).

Do you know if it's possible to specify an S2 style this way?
Does this capability depend on whether the account being viewed is a paid account? If so, can the free styles still be viewed from a free account?

Thanks again,
Banazir

are you talking something along the lines of entry number on the page, entry numberr in the journal, or the number before the .html (in this case, 259479)?

i don't have any numberrng code active right now (though i DO have some code for numbering comments as #1. 1.1, 1.2, 2, 3, 3.1 ...), but i'm pretty sure i saw entry number additions in my style's help group.

Absolut Style
I'm saying I'd like to load URL
http://www.livejournal.com/users/tanelos/12619.html?style=unearthed
and have it come up in Unearthed (default colors are OK, though of course the ideal would be to be able to specify that via a binding too).

Interesting. I tried adding "?style=mine" to that entry's URL and was able to view it in my style (Novel Conundrum). I always thought the only options are "in their style if they tick the tickybox and aren't a free account (which disallows it)", "in your (the viewer's) style as mentioned above", or "in lj default whatsit".

Is there any other "?style=..." option?
Can we say "?style=[name of specific style]"?
I've tried it various ways, and can only bring it up in the default "white" background or my own style (Opal).

Re: Is there any other "?style=..." option?
I didn't think so, but IANAE. I'd send this one to "support" to see what they say.

Will do - thanks
Never saw IANAE before - "I am not an expert", I take it?
