In Soviet Russia, Uncyclopedia debunks YOU

Old primary tagline: Ninja State Machine
Old secondary tagline: Mavis Beacon Teaches My Hands to War
New primary tagline: Old Folk Algorithms
New secondary tagline: In Soviet Russia, Markov model hides you!

Andrew, one of my students, says the "in Soviet Russia, car drives you" is from Yakov Smirnoff. Is this so? I thought there was actually something from Doctor Zhivago to this effect.

tmehlinger showed me the Uncyclopedia, a Wikipedia spoof, which has an article about "Russian reversal", but... well, it's the Uncyclopedia. :-)

Edit, 23:00 CST Tue 25 Oct 2005 - Apparently the original reversal was by Yakov Smirnoff, from "In America, you can always find a party!" to "In Soviet Russia, the (Communist) Party always finds you!"
