Paladins of Planet Gentoo

From borgseawolf:

paladin
PALADIN

You are the Paladin, the
ultimate warrior for God. The Paladin
represents all that is good in the world.
Paladins fight evil at all costs. They do not
care for material pleasures of this world. They
have sworn their lives away to protecting the
innocent, avenging the victims of cruel
murders, and chasing after those who deserve
their punishments. The Paladin will do anything
to fulfill their duties. They will even
sacrifice themselves to save
another.

Who would you be if you were a character in an epic fantasy? (beautiful pictures)
brought to you by Quizilla

Oh, not another one of these... I have Paladinitis!

Edit, 01:45 CDT Fri 28 Oct 2005 - In other news, with the advent of OpenLDAP and hopefully an Encap manager such as epkg, we will have successfully returned to Linux on fingolfin, the KDD file server. The arc was: Red Hat Linux 7 (where NFS performance sucked rolled-up armadillos through a crazy straw) to OpenBSD to NetBSD to FreeBSD to Gentoo Linux. So there!

Re: oh if i were only 25 years younger!
Hi there! I was up late, working, and just saw this! You have me blushing and smiling a bit. Thanks for a very flattering pick-me-up.

Paladinitis is cured only by itchy palm syndrome and the ability to pick locks and pull off heists. But perhaps my Nanowrimo will have a heist. Yes. I think it will!

Thanks for the pointer to jackiejj's LJ.

My Nanowrimo blog is tanelos, and the book, as it is so far, is in the December 1, 2004 entries. Enjoy!

Re: oh if i were only 25 years younger!
i am so glad you were up to read this, don't you ever sleep?..no just teasing..i was about to write you an email too..but, i will go ahead and talk about it here if you have time, and still want to discuss..or can answer when you get a chance. You have soooo very many interests, and so many things you do, it is a wonder your head can hold them all.,but, i also, had a question about your artificial intelligence research that you are a part of, and i was wondering if this was one of the times of the year you will be addressing that...or are you still doing that? Well, i am skirting around a question that i dont know how to ask, but, does your research include the firing of nuetrons in the brain of humans, and how that works, in order to understand how to wire a artificially intelligent brain?..i would think that the cross over science would exist, and it seems that not too long ago, i skimmed over reading about research that involved a kind of melding of the 2, human brain and computer, and that the research had evolved enough to think of very simple, thought, with the primitive part of the brain causing the computer to respond. Do you know what I am referring to?..are you doing any research like that? I wanted to know, because i have so much nueronal brain function problems, that i wondered if there were any programs that i could volunteer as a guinea pig for..not, a placebo group, but, the real deal..is there anything like that ongoing there?. Just wondering?..and i am glad i made you smile, you make me smile, and it is the truth you know...i seem to have had a brain, that had more in it, than i ever knew, and as i get older, i find, that it is all coming to the fore, i mean interests and ideas and so much i want to know, and think about and i sure have the time, but, i sure dont have the money anymore, i guess you read about this last marriage and what happened to my money. however, with mom's estate, if i can pull off winning what belongs to the family, that will put me back in a better financial state of being, but, it will be a while yet..anyway..any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I tried to get my son interested in the aritficial intelligence part of computer science, but, he wasn't interested, and still isnt to me it is fascinating..
ok hope you are still up..
