I'm asking primarily on behalf of
masaga. There was a 
comptranslation workshop on Arabic-to-English translation scheduled for spring break, 2006, and since I can't make it (due to a lot of research and teaching duties on this end), and since I will be visiting family in China when the rescheduled trip is to happen (early June), masaga and one other member or affiliate of my research group will be representing us.(Yay, I finally get to use my
comptranslation icon!)--
