You may recall that back in April, I switched to iTalkBB, a Vonage-like voice-over-IP (VoIP) provider, because its global unlimited plan gives me unlimited long distance to the 50 U.S. states and 20 countries for $25 a month.
So far, it's generally been good. BitTorrent interferes with the VoIP quality, as you would expect high-bandwidth uploads and downloads to. The main problem, however, has been a slight lack of clarity that causes my Brother fax machine to be unable to hold an outgoing or incoming fax connection.
I've resorted to using eFax and FaxZero for now. I'd like to restore the ability to fax 10-20 page documents every now and the (not often), something my dad has used and will use.
Any ideas or opinions on VoIP?
