PlayStation 3 and Sylvanas Out Tonight

Has anyone bought a PS3? Is anyone actually playing with one now? Will anyone admit to flipping one? ;-)

In other news: Here's a funny YouTube video cross-posted from teunc.

Even more amusing than the gnomish raid on the Undercity...

I have no plans of getting a PS3, but I may get an Xbox360. I play my old haxxored Xbox every now and again and generally enjoy it. Downloading games works pretty well for me, being that I rarely have time to play for extended periods (and thus justifying the expense of buying games). A PS3 seems excessively expensive to me. And I don't like all the problems they've had with them. Sony looks set to fall.

Namaste.

Hacked XBox
Thanks for the data point. I've heard many prognostications, mostly to the effect that Wii is going to pwn PS3.

What do you mean by "haxxored Xbox", pray tell?

Haha, a overclocked gamecube beats the PS3, that's hilarious.(:

Re: Hacked XBox
I dunno what chip I've got in it. I bought an Executor v.? about the same time I bought the Xbox, but I never got around to installing it. Then I fried the power supply in it, took it into an Xbox-authorized repair shop and they told me it'd cost $100 just to crack the box, plus parts for the repair. I took it down the street to a toy store that also repaired consoles. They replaced the power supply and chipped it. Then I hacked the console so that I could FTP games to the internal HD, play movies and all that jive.

I fried the power supply again when I last moved to South Korea, but haven't had any problems since. Now I'm running EvoX v.?

Namaste.
