I watched Smallville instead of AI3 tonight.

Sooooo... I hear Teen Martin (John Stevens IV, the carrot-topped oldies crooner has hung in there. Good on him! He seems a little prone to chokle, though. Here's hoping he'll get his act completely together soon.

Sooooooooooooooo: I hear Scootergirl is gone. Oh, wlel. Enough people are saying "good riddance" that I won't, but neither will I miss her. How did she take it? And... lemme get this straight - Bittergirl stayed too? What about the repeatedly AWOL bikini model?

The 100th episode of Angel
I did not see that ending coming. Sic transit gloria Cordy.
Not for all the hints and clues that are bovious in retrospect.
It's still powerful after three viewings.
I really have to hand it to Joss Whedon for taking a theme that could have been trite and hackneyed down to the swelling music, and actually made it memorable and capable of moving us.
Perhaps that is also a testament to how much people invested in the character of Cordy.

Edit, 01:00 CST Thu 05 Feb 2004: David Boreanaz was just on a rerun of Last Call with Carson Daly, talking about having filmed this ep. He did an impression of Christopher Walken that he says he learned from the late actor who played Doyle.
