Leapday

It's leap day! Yay!
Leapday teunces to all.

Here is some leap day history, courtesy of the wikipedians, and some leap day math (calendrical computation courtesy of Mathematica).

Mucho quizzage...

From masteralida and others:
DesireUnity
Unity. You Turly Desire Unity. You wish that the
world was together as one, and world peace was
among us. You enjoy sitting in natures peaceful
spots to get away from war and hate.

What Do You Truly Desire? *PICS*
brought to you by Quizilla

Of course, I had to take this for my FoE character, Jack. ;-)

DesireLove
Love. You Truly Desire Love. You long for someone
to hold you and take the pain away. You haven't
been in much relationships or you need to work
on how to handle them. You always seem lost in
a daydream about the person you care about
most.

From a quizzy entry in deire's LJ some time ago:
*Slosh*
You will sink in a mire. You like to think you're
normal, but deep down you really just want to
strip off your clothes and roll around in
chicken fat.

What horrible Edward Gorey Death will you die?

From luckyames:
welcome home jersey kid.
Welcome home. You're SO Jersey. You know Wildwood
and Seaside are the most disgusting places on
earth, and only good for drunken after prom
vacations, you know there's always a
"short-cut" to someplace. Isn't
Jersey great? I mean, where else can you go 80
MPH and STILL be the slowest car on the road?

How JERSEY are you?

From shmeepster (I worry about the quiz author's spelling, oh grammar_whores):
You're a literary minded as the Bard himself!
You are a complete literary geek, from knowing the
classics (even the not-so-well-known classics
and tidbits about them) to knowing devices used
in writing, when someone has a question about
literature, they can bring it to you and rest
assured; you know the answers.

Welcome to my consciousness (for whatever that is worth)
As you have just been added to my friends list, I thought I'd let you know. You seem an interesting character, and the world is far too short on them in general. Perhaps it just seems that way because I am no longer in academia, and haven't been for far too long.

Why now and not earlier? Ich weiss nicht. But I do know that you post interesting comments on wondergirl_77's journal from time to time.

Anyway...

Hello!
Yes, I already noticed, as I was updating and checking my filters, and added you back. Welcome.

You seem an interesting character, and the world is far too short on them in general.
Well, thanks!

LOL, that could be.

Anyway...

From what I can tell, Rachael has generally good taste in LJ friends.
Enjoy!

  • Can't wait to slow dance at every opportunity. - Sans doute!

  • Would volunteer to be the two responsible for re-populating the planet. - yee! with robot girls! I'll get started right away!

Yes, it's late, and I'm going through every possible combination...
I'm beside myelf!

Is it just me?
Or is the date on this funny? Dated 29 Feb, but I saw it first 3 March.

It's definitely not just you.
I've been composing LJ entries on Sting (my iPAQ H3635 Pocket PC), but this is a 2001 model with no 802.11b wireless, and I have no client installed. So, I've been coming home, retyping them, and posting them using the web form. Result: quite a bit of back-dating. Sorry.

Bear with me a few hours; teunceing service should resume shrotly. :-)

Sounds like "do the Hustle". :-P

In principle, I do, but I haven't actually seen the whole film.
